Autumn 2014 Parent Rota
Athletics Official Application Form
Matches and competitions that we all enjoy don't happen without officials. We have a great team of field officials who work tirelessly at each of the competitions we go to supporting athletes from our club and the other clubs competing. We are now looking to build a similar team of officials for time-keeping, track and starting.
The great thing with all officiating is you can develop and take your progress to whatever level you wish - and it reaps massive benefit and reward to the club.
If you are interested in becoming a track (or field) official please let us know and we will support you on your pathway and cover the cost of the course..........make that next competition on a Sunday afternoon in June 2015 more fun by not only watching but getting involved too.

The Parent Rota for next term is now available. There are no groups assigned as yet - this will follow but we wanted to ensure you are all aware of which Saturday sessions have been assigned to you.
Some of you may find the ones you are assigned do not meet your recollection of when you said you were available - with over 25% of the forms returned with no name on them and some not returned at all we have had to do the best we could.
As always if you have a problem attending any of the sessions you have been assigned please inform the group coach as far in advance as possible - once we have that detail sorted. A quick reminder that it is a condition of continued club membership that Parent Rota duties are completed. We do record who does and does not attend.
Southern U15 Inter Counties
Ben Harris (Berks triple jump) and Adam Day (Bucks 300m) both competed strongly at Allianz Park on Sunday in the Southern Region Inter Counties U15 match.
Ben won the triple jump with a hop, step and jump of over 13 metres whilst Adam once again set a new PB and club record (38.50secs) in finishing 4th in the 300m.
Well done to both Ben and Adam.
In the overall competition, the Berkshire boys finished 2nd.
Oxford QuadKids Sunday 3rd August
Congratulations to Lucy Gryce on her performance at the Oxford AC QuadKids event on Sunday where she finished a close second and achieved a new PB in the long jump of 4.04cm. This concludes what has been a fantastic season for Lucy as she progresses on the pathway to becoming a multi-event athlete.
