We are all very much looking forward to the third round of the Wessex League on 1st July at Basingstoke. After a great competition in both Rounds 1 and 2, we are looking to build on the winning performances and great team spirit going into the final 2 rounds of the Wessex League. Team selection has been challenging - well done to those who have been selected - we know you will compete with pride. We have made some changes to clarify what people are doing in advance. We have also indicated a reserve for each event who will compete as a non-scorer should the A and B strings turn up! Reserves are expected to travel and compete in their selected events. There will be opportunities to compete in non-scoring track events if you are competing in less than 3 events so if you are not on the team or a reserve please let Francesca know and we will do our best to include you - every opportunity to compete is an important one.

There is no seating available at this track so we would advise bringing either a chair, picnic rug or tent to sit on throughout the course of the day. Transport : As the match is at Basingstoke we are not putting on a coach. If you need a lift or are willing to provide athletes with a lift please let Francesca know (email@example.com) so that something can be sorted out. If you are taking another athlete, please let Francesca know as Loco Parentis forms need to be filled out before the competition. Officiating / field event assistance : as with all rounds we have a duty list for officials. If you wish to kindly offer to assist our officials on the day with field event duties it will be much appreciated – subject to requirements. Assistance at matches is credited to your Parent Rota duties next term. Registration : please report to the Team Managers no later than 10:00am on Sunday 1st July. Late registration will mean we have to change the team and your place will go to others. Events start at 10:45am.

Please do not forget your safety pins You must compete in a club t-shirt if U11 and a club competition vest if U13 U15 or U17. These are available to purchase on Saturday’s (£15). If you are not wearing a club representative vest you will not be allowed to take your place in the event.
