In the U13 Boys the Berkshire team was not placed outside the top 10 in any of the individual events with performances from David Dhanraj (standing triple jump 1st), Adam Day (6 lap race 2nd) and Adam combining with Thomas Moore in the 8 lap Paarlauf (2nd) amongst the highlights. Regrettably competing a man down on the team highlighted to importance of “team” particularly when up against such strong competition from around the region with the U13 Boys struggling in the track events and ending the afternoon in 3rd place overall.
Ellysha Franklin and Louisa Snape were our representatives in the U13 Girls team who again came up against some very strong competition, including last years’ national title winners. Louisa came 3rd overall in the individual 2 lap race and Ellysha set a new indoor PB in the high jump (1.45m) coming 4th.
In the U15 Boys there were excellent individual performances from Matthew Bradly (speed bounce 1st) and Morris Nganga (4 lap race 4th; standing long jump 4th), well supported by Isaac Osei-Tutu and Matthew Hand.
