Below is a summary of the key points you should be aware of ahead of the Term Championships which take place on Saturday 9th March 2019 at TVAC.

  • There are no “normal” time sessions - everyone at the club, all athletes, compete on the day in a single session with times as below

  • Registration: 11:30 (Parent rota registration 11:20)

  • Warm-up: 11:45

  • Competition is by age and gender group based on age on the day

  • Everyone competes in 8 different events combining running, jumping and throwing

  • Each event been coached this term

  • Athletes compete to be track champion, field champion and all round champion

  • There is a rotation process around the events planned to be every 30 minutes but subject to change based on numbers who come along on the day

  • Events are led by coaches assisted by parents on the rota

  • Younger age groups will be chaperoned by parents on rota

  • Parents are welcome to stay and watch from designated space

  • Photography during the afternoon is NOT permitted. Please respect this at all times

  • Once the events have been completed it will be followed by presentations. We hope to be finished by 5:00pm

  • There will be a parent competition whilst the final results are collated

  • As well as a drink (as every week) you may want your child to bring something to eat.  Whilst there is no formal break during the competition there is some downtime whilst events are being completed

  • If you arrive late you may miss a round which will impact on your overall result in the track, field and all round competition

  •  If you need to leave early please ensure you sign out as usual before you leave
