Looking After Your Club
The running of Slough Junior Athletics Club is overseen by the Club Committee. There are many jobs to be done to ensure everything runs smoothly and we always appreciate any help parents and carers can provide. If you are interested in volunteering with the club, please take a look at how you can help here, and let us know.

You don't need to be an athletics expert, just have an interest in the club and be keen to get stuck in.
The Committee has the following responsibilities:
-
To manage the Club for and on behalf of its Members (your children)
-
To conduct the long-term planning of activities so that the aims and objectives of the Club are fulfilled
-
To develop policies and procedures as necessary and appropriate to the operation and sustainability of the Club
-
To manage external relations
-
To obtain resources and ensure that all financial and legal matters are properly managed
-
To carry out the recommendations of Members
-
To regularly communicate with and provide information to Members about the running of the Club
-
Evaluate the performance of coaches, officials, athletes and importantly itself
-
To ensure that all members of the committee act as leadership role models

Our annual general meeting is held in October and the committee generally meets every 2 months.
