Training Times & Locations

Main Club Session - Saturdays 


Our club training sessions are held at Thames Valley Athletics Centre, conveniently located between Windsor and Slough.  We have access to both a large indoor facility and a competition standard outdoor track.  

 

Our primary training sessions take place on a Saturday and are broadly in line with the school calendar.  We have 3 terms per year - Autumn, Spring and Summer - but we do not stop training during half terms.  

On a Saturday, our training sessions are organised by a combination of age and ability.  As a guide, and based on your child's age at the end of the school year (31st August), the following sessions are available:


Session 1 

09:05 - 10:10

Athletes aged 5 - 6

Session 2

10:30 - 11:50

Athletes aged 7 - 8 

Session 3

12:10 - 13:30

Non competitive athletes aged 9 and older

Session 4

14:00 - 15:45

Competitive athletes aged 9 and older


Places in each session are subject to availability.  We do endeavour to facilitate siblings training at the same time where possible but cannot guarantee this.  Session 2 includes older and younger siblings up to the age of 10. 

Additional Training Sessions
​Older athletes (9+) may also be invited to train during the week on Monday and Wednesday evenings subject to agreement with the coaching team.  Athletes in Session 4 also have the opportunity to attend yoga sessions on a Thursday evening.  Additional sessions are at an extra cost added to the term fee.  These sessions take place as follows:

Monday Bootcamp

Thursday Yoga (for Session 4 Athletes)
